CSO Purpose

The overall objective of BNEW is to facilitate and enhance women’s empowerment, leadership and representation in all spheres (social, economic, political) and levels of governance in support of meeting RGOB’s commitments to International Conventions, Treaties and Goals related to gender and women’s empowerment.

CSO Objective

i. Establishment and Management of BNEW Secretariat which would include the resource cum service center for women’s empowerment and leadership capacity development to put together a service center for women to access and enhance knowledge and performance which would support and facilitate women’s empowerment and leadership in social, economic, development and democratic governance spheres of society.
