1. Create, install and promote among the public a sense of care, kindness and compassion towards animals. 2. Established and operate a strong and effective Organization dedicated to provide Public Service through the delivery of effective relief to animals; 3. Maintain animals welfare center(s), hospital, Clinic, and other facilities for care, treatment , shelter and dis[position of sick and injured animals; and 4. Work tirelessly to reduce the harmful impact of Human Activities on animal through public education, Awareness-raising and Campaign, and do all that is necessary to promote the general welfare of animals everywhere.
The Royal Society for the Protection and Care of Animals ( RSPCA), Bhutan was the first Organization of its kind set up in the kingdom in order to greatly alleviate the problem of animals maltreatment. In A society that is govern by Buddhist ethics, many are hesitant to recognize the fact that growing problem of stray dogs has been addressed badly. The RSPCA , Bhutan is an Organization that has dedicated itself fully to finding appropriate and effetive measures to combat this problem, while operating on strictly non-profit basis. 1. inculcate a sense of moral responsibility for proper care and human treatment of animals through increasing awareness on plight of animals in Bhutan; and 2. Educate proper animal care by way of demonstration and information dissemination.
