The Government announced Nu 300 million support to Civil Society Organizations(CSO) delivering social mandates at an event today which was attended by 23 social-sector CSOs. At the event, Hon’ble Prime Minister, thanking the CSOs, highlighted the critical roles that they play in serving the nation by providing services to diverse sections of the society throughout the country including looking after animal welfare.

The Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador of India to Bhutan, H.E. Sudhakar Dalela, and the Government of India for providing the generous assistance through the Project Tied Assistance in the 13th Plan.
